Dr. Meltzer uses 3D interactive software to plan many implant cases. He has pioneered the use of CT guidance and has used this approach for almost 20 years. Currently Dr. Meltzer uses SimPlant™ software developed by Materialise.
The use of 3D CT guidance provides an increased level of surgical confidence and safety. Real 3D planning allows Dr. Meltzer to locate the ideal position for implant placement allowing for optimal form, function and safety while using a minimally invasive approach.
Dr. Meltzer is one of the featured speakers at the SimPlant Academy National Meeting.
