The Perioscope: Minimally Invasive Detailed Periodontal Evaluation and Treatment

This technology offers a new approach for detailed non-surgical evaluation of dental and periodontal conditions.
The perioscope is an ultra-small endoscope designed to aid in the evaluation of the dead space beneath the gum line. By placing a micro-camera into the space between the gum and the tooth root, a picture of the space between the gum and the tooth root is created.

The use of the Perioscope is a non-surgical approach for management of isolated infected periodontal surgery. The Perioscope is not a replacement for surgical therapy.
