General Anesthesia
General Anesthesia
While techniques of procedural sedation manage more than 95% of patients, there remains a small group of patients who require anesthesia that renders them unconscious. This is performed in the same-day surgery unit of a local hospital. We maintain a hospital affiliation to treat those patients that require general anesthesia.
Our anesthesiologist is Board certified. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and has extensive experience in private practice and academic anesthesia. We do not use a nurse anesthesiologist. Your safety is always our primary concern.
